FAQ
where can I get a tour poster?
Frankly, no idea. We do not have tour posters as we are not the promoter and therefore we are not involved with the promotion of the shows.
How many seats does the venue hold?
The Kindl-Bühne Wuhlheide has a capacity of 17,000 visitors. Of these, 12,390 are seats, 20 are for wheelchair users, and 4,590 are standing places on the arena floor.
When do I have to get there to ensure I get a seat (oN GENERAL ADMISSION shows)?
We usually open our gates two hours before the concert starts. The people who are waiting outside the entrances at opening time usually want to stand in front of the stage. The seating areas fill gradually. Of course, the best seats fill up first.
Am I allowed to bring food and beverages with me?
You may bring non-alcoholic drinks limited to 0.5 liters per person in containers not larger than 0.5 liters (Tetra Pak or plastic bottles) – no glass, no cans, no larger containers, no alcohol. You may only bring small amounts of your own snacks; in particular, bulky coolers and food containers are not allowed for safety reasons.
There are two of us – why can't we bring a 1-liter bottle?
Our security staff have plenty to do getting everyone inside on time. Accordingly, they cannot afford to engage in time-consuming discussions like "that guy up their had a 1-liter bottle, why can't I take mine in?". Therefore, please follow the rules, even if you feel they are silly or excessive.
Can we take a still or video camera with us?
This is up to the artists. Video, film and photo cameras are not allowed, nor is sound recording equipment, due to potential violation and subsequent abuse of artists' copyrights. In most cases, however, the artists don't have a problem with you taking souvenir photos of your concert experience with your mobile phone or non-professional photo equipment (no exchangeable lenses). Under no circumstances, however, are you allowed to record part or all of the event and distribute it over the internet or other media or otherwise make it accessible to other people.
Can we take an umbrella with us if it rains?
Umbrellas obstruct the view for other visitors. Therefore, we ask that you wear weatherproof clothing instead, whenever possible. Nonetheless, umbrellas are only banned in individual cases. This decision is made by tour security, whose instructions we must follow.
Can kids under the age of 16 attend SHOWS if unaccompanied by an adult?
NO, but as the answer to this question is rather comprehensive please scroll down to the end of this page.
Can I bring my baby with me to the concert?
The relevant laws do not stipulate a minimum age, provided the child is in the company of its parents. We wish to point out, however, that our concerts sometimes generate noise levels that can be hazardous to health, particularly that of small children and babies! For more detailed information, please ask your pediatrician. We recommend using ear protection in any case. But even better would be to leave your baby at home with a reliable babysitter. If you wish to bring your child with you, you must purchase a ticket for it.
Can I take a buggy, pram or stroller to the concert?
No, buggies are prohibited at the venue for safety reasons, nor do we have anywhere you could check them.
Can I take my SMALL backpack with me to the venue?
Yes, SMALL backpacks ("City-backpacks") are okay, but large "travel-type"-backpacks are prohibited at the venue for safety reasons. We do not have any lockers on site. The nearest place you can check backpacks or other bags is the Ostbahnhof station.

INFORMATION ON THE PROTECTION OF MINORS AT KINDL-BÜHNE WUHLHEIDE
Dear parents and guardians,
To ensure compliance with legislation regarding the protection of minors (JuSchG), children and adolescents under the age of 16 will only be admitted to concerts at Kindl-Bühne Wuhlheide in the company of a parent or guardian, who must be in possession of their own tickets.
Since the new laws came into effect, parents have the option of naming a guardian for concerts at Kindl-Bühne Wuhlheide to accompany and supervise their underage child during and after the event. Your child can then attend certain events in the company of this guardian. When naming a guardian, please note the following:
• The appointed guardian must be of legal age (i.e. 18 or older).
• The appointed guardian must be mature enough to provide your child with the necessary responsible support in this situation.
• For evening events, you must make sure that your child has a ride home.
• Make sure that the appointed guardian is not under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants while accompanying your child.
Please note that you continue to bear full responsibility for supervising your child, as well as any potential liability, even if you have appointed a guardian.
A form (in German only, sorry) is available here for naming a guardian to satisfy the requirements of the law.
Underage visitors must carry the original version of this completed, signed form, along with a copy of the identification of the signing parent, when entering the premises and for the full duration of the event. They must present it to security staff upon demand. The authenticity of the parent's signature must be proven with a copy of the signing parent's identification card. Both the underage person and the appointed guardian must be able to present official identification documents.
We wish to point out that any attempted forgery of documents or signatures may result in charges being filed with the authorities. As the stage operators, we reserve the right check underage visitors and their guardians at random. Should the necessary documents be unavailable, we reserve the right to refuse underage visitors admission to the event, regardless of whether they are in possession of a valid entrance ticket. Thank you for your cooperation. Our House Rules also apply.
